Kronoheros Umbriferus, formerly part of the genus Caquetaia and commonly known as the turquoise cichlid or blue freckled monster, is a species of fish endemic to the basins of the Atrato and Magdalena rivers of Colombia, and the Tuira and Chucunaque rivers of Panama.
These open water predators are highly aggressive and can reach sizes over 24 inches.
